Passed peacefully away at the Carmelite House at Grand Falls-Windsor on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, Robert Thomas Douglas, age 77 years of Hermitage.

Robert leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, Margaret; son, Kerry (Serena) at Nova Scotia; daughter, Kimberly (David) at Ontario; grandchildren, Melissa, Robyn, Ryan and Mackenzie; sisters, Barbara Cooper (Lew) and Daphene Janes (Doug) all at Burgeo, NL; brothers, Fred Douglas (Hazel) at St. John’s and Eric Douglas (Cora) at Nova Scotia; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Robert was predeceased by his brothers, Max Douglas and Lloyd Douglas; parents, Jack and Laura Douglas; and other family members.

Cremation has taken place.

Visitations took place at St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage on Thursday, January 18 from 2pm to 4pm for Family Members only and from 7pm to 9pm for the public.

Funeral Service was held at St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 2:00pm with Rev. Jonathan Durdle officiating.
