Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre on Monday, December 18, 2023, Ada Pearl Moore, age 75 years of Harbour Breton.

Ada leaves to mourn her loving family: husband, John, 58 years married; daughters, Denise Moore (Ronald), Holly Mullins (Steve), Roxanne Skinner (Mark), all at Harbour Breton, and Gail Hoskins (Frank) at St. Alban’s; sons, Richard at Harbour Breton, Todd (Jessica) at Dartmouth, NS and Travis (Denise) at Trinity, BB; grandchildren, Lynette (Randell), Stephen (Colleen), Kelsi (Daniel), Michael (Sarah), Joshua, Ryan (Erin), Benjamin, Marcus and Jasmine; special great grandchildren, Brian, Eli and Kierra; sisters, Lucy Blagdon (Aubrey) at Marystown, Martha Bolt (Mark) at Grand Le Pierre, Maxine Clarke at English Harbour West and Judy Lace (Russell) at Alberta; brothers, Charlie Phillips (Lorraine) at Goulds, David Phillips (Jackie) at Grand Le Pierre and Eric Phillips (Ruth) at Alberta; special dog, Max; as well as a large circle of the Moore family and special friends.

Ada was predeceased by her father, Henry Phillips; mother, Emily Bolt; parents in law, Fred and Elsie Moore; sister, Helen Barnes; brother, William Phillips; brother in law, William Clarke; sister in law, Paulette Moore.

Visitations took place at Spencer’s Funeral Home at Harbour Breton on Wednesday, December 20 from 1pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm.

Funeral Service was held at Spencer’s Funeral Home Chapel at Harbour Breton on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Jonathan Durdle officiating.
