Obituary for James Kent Hill

Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Sunday, February 12, 2017, James Kent Hill, age 91 of Hermitage.

Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, Martha, of 70 years; children, Lindsay (Claudine) and Derek (Sherry) all at Hermitage, Judy (Sherman) at Gander and Joan( Harry) at Port Aux Basques; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; plus a number of other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Martha Hill; daughter, Betty Short; brothers, Sandy, Harry, Wallace, Wilfred, Warren and Herbert; sisters, Hazel, Ursula, Beatrice, Annie and Gertrude.

Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, February 15, 2016 at 2:00 pm from St. Saviour's Anglican Church at Hermitage with Rev. Hubert Vallis officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Hermitage.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Saviour's Church Building Fund.
