Obituary for Keith Roy Rideout

Keith Rideout was born on January 30, 1961 to Roy and Audrey Rideout. He was the second oldest of four children. On November 19, 1983, he married the love of his life, Jody. Together they had two children, Ryan and Tyler and were later blessed with grandsons, Greyson and Emmett, and granddaughters, Faith and Elsie.

Keith was a man of faith and was a member of the Salvation Army Seal Cove Corps. He served many years as a Town Councilor and Mayor for the Town of Seal Cove as well as a dedicated member of the Seal Cove Volunteer Fire Department.

Keith leaves with many fond memories, his loving wife of 39 years, Jody; sons, Ryan (Cammie) and Tyler (Dawn); his pride and joy grandchildren, Greyson, Emmett, Elsie and Faith; special niece, Suanne Stockley; parents, Roy and Audrey Rideout; parents in law, Stanley and Phoebe Trimm; two sisters; one brother; three brothers in law and their spouses; as well as a large extended family and a circle of friends.

He was predeceased by nieces, Melissa Barter (Trimm) and Vanessa Warren.

Visitation took place at the Salvation Army Church, Seal Cove on Friday, October 6 from 2 pm to 4 pm. Family Service took place at 7 pm.

Funeral Service was held on Saturday, October 7 at 1:30 pm at the Salvation Army Church, Seal Cove with Majors Neil and Dolores Abbott officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
