Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center at Harbour Breton on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, Rosie Mildred Mabel Meade of Sandyville, age 85 years.

Rosie leaves to mourn her loving family: son, James Meade (Annie); daughter, Emily Rubinich (John), with whom she resided; grandchildren, Rosemary, Leslie, John, Annmarie, Kathleen, Damen, Jenna and Alex; great grandchildren, Julia, Alicia, Sommer, Madison, Kenzie, Triton, Aliria, Harlin, Noah, Ava Sadie and Bella; great great grandchildren, Serena, Sara, Lincoln and Reign; brother, Wilson Northcotte at Harbour Breton; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.

Rosie was predeceased by her husband, Jonas Meade; daughter, Maude McDonald; parents, Lucy and Cecil Northcotte; sister, Annie Harris; brothers, Cecil, Ambrose and John Northcotte.

Visitation was held at St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage on Thursday, March 30 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, and, on Friday, March 31 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

Celebration of Life was held at St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 2:00pm with Rev. Bruce Vallis officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Hermitage.
