Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Thursday, February 9, 2023, Eric Crant, age 78 years, of Wreck Cove.

Eric leaves to mourn his loving family: daughters, Sheila Crant, Marlene Cox (Donald) and Cathy Hunt (Terry), all at Wreck Cove; sons, Winston (Sandra), Cyril (Cheryl), all at Wreck Cove, Darren (Barbara) at Botwood and Perry (Tracey) at Mount Pearl; grandchildren, Kelsey Crant, Bailey Crant, Devyn Crant and Noah Hunt; brother, Gerald Crant (Lena) at Wreck Cove; sister in law, Rose Vallis at South East Placentia; nieces, Joni Stoodley (Dean) at Wreck Cove and Kelly Bullen (Chris) at Bishop’s Falls; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Eric was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth; his granddaughter, Caitlin Crant (Cox); his parents, John and Isabelle Crant; parents in law, Philip and Mary Vallis.

Visitation took place at All Saints Anglican Church at Wreck Cove.

Funeral Service was held on Monday, February 13, 2023 at 2:00 pm at All Saints Anglican Church at Wreck Cove with Rev. Bruce Vallis officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Wreck Cove.
