It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nathan Poole Rose announces his passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center in Harbour Breton on Sunday, November 20, 2022, age 85 years.

Nathan leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, Susie; children, Gloria (Warren) Keeping at English Harbour West, Darlene Rose (Mike Piccard) at Orleans, Ottawa and Todd Rose (Penny) at Twillingate; grandchildren, Nicholas (Lindsey) Watson, Susan (Andrew) Toope and Suanne (Kirk) Stockley; great grandchildren, Layla Stockley, Hayden Watson and Ashton Watson; brothers, Bill (Bobbi) at Ontario, Victor, Joe (Bernice), all at Belleoram, and David (Eva) at Marystown; sisters, Marina (Amador) at Corner Brook, Helen (Elton), Joan, all at Portugal Cove-St. Phillip’s, and Ester (Frank) at Marystown; as well as a circle of other family members and friends.

Nathan was predeceased by his parents, Nathan and Meta Rose; parents in law, Jack and Dinah Nash; brothers, George (Georgina) and Derek; sister, Lucy (Jack); sister in law, Beatrice Rose; brothers in law, Douglas Crewe, Clyde Bobbett and Lloyd King.

Visitation took place at St. Saviour’s Haven at Hermitage on Tuesday, November 22 and on Wednesday, November 23 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

Funeral Service was held on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at 1:00pm at St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage with Rev. Bruce Vallis officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Hermitage.
