Passed peacefully away, surrounded by her loving family, at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center at Harbour Breton on Friday, October 28, 2022, Joyce Keeping, age 88 years of Wreck Cove.

Leaving behind with fond memories, her loving family: children, Pearl Strowbridge (Sam) at Wreck Cove, Juanita Parrell (Ron) at Mount Pearl, Charlie John Keeping at Wreck Cove and Tracey Crant (Perry) at Mount Pearl; grandchildren, Trudy, Tina (Kevin) all at St. John’s, Tammy Blagdon, Todd Blagdon all at Grand Falls-Windsor, Scott Keeping at St. John’s, Kelsey Crant and Devyn Crant both at Mount Pearl; great grandchildren, Jacinda, Cameron, Kendra, Alyssa, Connor, Emilee, Langston and Arizona; great great grandchild, Kacen; brothers, Garfield Cox Sr at Grand Bank and Norman Cox at Wreck Cove; sister in law, Hilda Cox at St. Jacques; home care workers, Rose Keeping and Martha Jane Keeping; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Charles Keeping in 1989; daughter, Rosebelle in 2007; Baby Boy Keeping; grand daughter, Bonnie Marie Keeping; parents, Thomas and Evelyn Cox; parents in law, Norman and Matilda Keeping; sisters, Elizabeth Lawrence and Sarah Cumben; brothers, Phillip Cox and Benjamin Cox; son in law, Conrad Blagdon; sisters in law, Bertha Cox, Bessie Cox and Julie Ann Keeping; brothers in law, Stephen Keeping, George Lawrence Sr. and Wilfred Cumben.

The family expresses sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Staff at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre for the compassionate care they provided Mom. As well, we would like to thank the home care workers for your support and dedication, often beyond expectation, in keeping Mom comfortable and tended to.

Resting at All Saint’s Anglican Church at Wreck Cove, with Visitation times: Saturday, October 29 at 7:00-9:00PM Sunday, October 30 at 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM

Funeral Service took place on Monday, October 31, 2022 at 2:00 pm at All Saints Anglican Church at Wreck Cove with Rev. Bruce Vallis officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Wreck Cove.
