Obituary for Chesley Ralph Loveless

Chesley Loveless passed peacefully away at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Care Centre in Botwood, age 95 years.

Leaving behind with fond memories – children, Rene (Wanda) and Dora (Howard); daughter-in-law, Phyllis; grandchildren, Verna, Jerry, Lisa, Laura, Lori, and six great grandchildren; brother, Willis; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends.

Predeceased by his wife, Ada; son, Wesley; grandchildren, Lori, Jason, Lucy and Pamela; parents, Simeon & Lydia; brothers, Charlie, Harold, Leslie and James; sisters, Ivy, Winnie, Edna and Cassie.

Chesley lived life to the fullest. He was a beloved Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He dearly loved his family, was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed by all. A devoted Christian, his legacy of faithfulness to God will continue to inspire all who knew and loved him.

He worked hard in the logging industry from his teen years, right up to his retirement. During this time, he made many friendships that continued throughout his life. He was generous and kind in so many ways, always saw the best in people and was there to provide a helping hand whenever he could.

The family expresses sincere gratitude to the Nursing Staff of Unit C at the Twomey Centre for the compassionate care he received during his stay there.

Visitation Times: Friday, October 28th at 2:00 - 4:00 PM; 7:00 - 9:00 PM Saturday, October 29th at 10:00 AM -12:00 PM; 2:00 - 4:00 PM; 7:00 - 9:00 PM

Funeral Service took place on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 2:00pm at the Salvation Army Citadel at Seal Cove. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Seal Cove.
