It is with great sadness that the family of William David Clarke announces his passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center at Harbour Breton on Saturday, October 1, 2022, age 70 years, of English Harbour West, NL.

William leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, Maxine, married 45 years; son, Leon (wife, Jennifer) at St. John’s; grandchildren, Alexander and Thomas Organ; brothers, Alexander Clarke at Ontario, Jim Clarke (Jeanette) at Bonavista, Roy Clarke (Mary) at Clarenville and Edward Clarke (Debbie) at Ontario; sisters, Amy Sheppard (Will) at Catalina and Roxanne Sexton (Dwayne) at Bonavista; four sisters in law; three brothers in law; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.

William was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Bessie Clarke; father in law, Henry Phillips, Jr.; brother. Bob Clarke; sisters, Barbara Matthews and Marjorie Tozier; brother in law, William Phillips; sister in law, Helen Barnes.

Funeral Service was held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at St. Thomas Anglican Church Chapel at English Harbour West with Rev. Tryphena Vallis officiating.
