It is with great sadness that the family of Roy Eric Loveless announces his passing at the Central Newfoundland Health Care Center at Grand Falls-Windsor on Sunday, August 14, 2022, age 69 years, of Seal Cove.

Roy leaves to mourn his loving family: daughter, Krista at Port aux Basques, NL; son, Matthew (wife, Natasha) at Bristol’s Hope; grandchildren, Liam, Benjamin, Quinn and Amber; brothers, Leo (Rudy) at CBS, Wilson (Sabrina) and Perry (Wanda), all at Seal Cove; sisters, Margaret (Oliver Langdon) at Paradise, Ruby, Ada (Ellison Newport) and Carol Ann (Perry Langdon), all at Seal Cove; sisters in law, Winnie Loveless at Paradise, Pheobe Durnford, Shirley Seymour, Louise Keeping (Israel), Susanna Northcotte, all at Margaree, NL, Norma Lilly (Wilson) at Isle Aux Mort, NL and Lillian Wellman (Hartland) at Brown’s Arm, NL; brothers in law, Jim Hodder (Zenith) at Margaree, NL and Raymond Hodder (Eileen) at Port Aux Basques, NL; as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Roy was predeceased by his wife, Edith; his parents, Benjamin and Dorothy Loveless; brother, Willie Loveless; parents in law, John and Mary Hodder; sister in law, Marion; brothers in law, Albert Loveless, Peter Durnford, Garfield Seymour, Terrance Keeping, Sam Northcotte, and Eric Lilly; plus a number of other relatives.

Visitation took place on Thursday, August 18 at the Salvation Army Church at Seal Cove from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Funeral Service was held on Friday, August 19, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the Salvation Army Church in Seal Cove with Majors Richard and Trudy Mouland officiating. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Seal Cove.
