It is with great sadness that the family of Audrey Deborah Griffin announces her passing at the Central Newfoundland Health Care Center at Grand Falls-Windsor on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, age 74 years of Harbour Breton, formerly of Jersey Harbour.

Audrey leaves to mourn her loving family: daughters, Michelle (Rick Stewart) and Bonita (Barry Pierce), all at Harbour Breton; special grandsons, Joshua Stewart and Jaedon Stewart, both at Harbour Breton; brothers, Gerald Strowbridge (Gertie) at Wreck Cove and Murdoch Strowbridge (Annie Maude) at Harbour Breton; sister, Linda Grandy (Raymond) at Harbour Breton; sisters in law, Shirley Dobbin (Jerry) at Grand Falls-Windsor, Dulcie Gosse (Lloyd) at Dildo and Anne Pardy (Jeff) at St. John’s, brothers in law, Reginald Griffin (Gladys) at Harbour Breton, Ronald Griffin (Hilda) at Nova Scotia, Hubert Griffin (Melinda) at Grand Falls-Windsor and Derm Pierce at Harbour Breton; aunt, Shirley Sheppard (Gordon) at Wreck Cove; plus a circle of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by her husband, Clarence in 1982; parents, John B. and Florence Strowbridge; parents in law, Don and Allie Griffin; sister in law, Cora Pierce; other family members.

Visitation took place on Friday, September 10, and Saturday, September 11 at Spencer’s Funeral Home at Harbour Breton from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm both days.

Funeral Service was held on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 2:00 pm from Spencer’s Funeral Home Chapel at Harbour Breton with Rev. Bruce Vallis officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Breton.
