Obituary for Ada Patricia Rebecca Prior
It is with great sadness that the family of Ada Patricia Rebecca Prior announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on Friday, July 30, 2021, age 84 years of Sandyville.
Ada leaves to mourn her loving family: son, Wade (Beverly) at Marystown; grandsons, Stephen (Katie) at Kamloops, BC and Christopher (Sara) at Clarenville, NL; great grandchildren, Jorja, Braxton, Avery and Paige; sisters, Juanita Crewe at Marystown, Eva Hunt at Harbour Breton and Joyce (Redmond King) at Morrisville; brother, Shirley Banfield (Laura) at Sandyville; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her husband, Clayton; special granddaughter in law, Gina Prior; brothers in law, Leslie Crewe and Maxwell Hunt; parents, Benjamin and Myrtle Banfield.
Visitation took place at St. Saviour’s Haven at Hermitage from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Sunday, August 1, 2021 and from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday, August 2, 2021.
Funeral Service took place on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 9:30 am from St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage with Rev. Charlie Cox officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery at Hermitage.
