It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph Leveson Willmott announces his passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center at Harbour Breton on Thursday, July 8, 2021, age 84 years of Hermitage.

Joseph leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, Blanche; sons, Leveson (Bernice) at Hermitage, Derick (Bernice) at Oshawa, ON, Keith (Mary) at Grand Prairie, AB and Duane at Hermitage; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; brothers, Eric (Mary) at Head of Bay D’Espoir and Leslie (Minnie) at Lewisporte; sisters, Sheila (Aloysius) at Head of Bay D’Espoir and Joan at St. John’s; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his brothers, Sidney, Fred, Calvin, Henry and Herbert; sisters, Evelyn and Sadie; parents, Fred and Susie Willmott.

Visitation took place at St. Saviour’s Haven at Hermitage on Friday, July 9 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Saturday, July 10 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. COVID-19 regulations were followed.

Funeral Service was held on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 2:00 pm at St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage with Rev. Robynn Toal officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Hermitage-Sandyville.
