It is with great sadness that the family of John Lloyd Chapman announces his passing at the Connaigre Health Care Centre at Harbour Breton on Thursday, April 29th, 2021, age 72, formerly of McCallum.

John leaves to mourn his loving family: Ruby, of 52 years; son, Colin (Tammy); two very special grandchildren, Shelby (Catie) and Laura; brothers, Jim (Cathy), Tom (Shirley), Winston and Earlin (Karen); sisters, Ivy (John), Nina (Dave), Esther, Olive (Sidney) and Hilda (John); sisters-in-law, Mary, Esther (Richard), Della and Judy; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceased by his parents, John and Sarah Chapman; brother, George; brothers-in-law, John Piercey and Tom Carter; mother and father-in-law, Minnie and James Piercey.

Walk-Thru visitation took place at St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage on Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Funeral Service was held on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 2:00 pm at St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage with Rev. Robynn Toal officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date at St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery, McCallum.
