It is with great sadness that the family of Allan Morgan Rideout announces his passing at the Connaigre Health Care Center at Harbour Breton on Friday, March 26, 2021, age 79 years of Seal Cove.

Allan leaves to mourn his loving family: his wife, Margaret, married 59 years; daughters, Geneva (Tony Caines) at Fortune and Maria (Terry Bungay) at Seal Cove; grandchildren, Mary Lynn (Philip) at Goulds, NL, Stephen (Laurie) at Gander, Maria at Goulds, NL and Alicia (Hayden) at Fort MacMurray, AB; great grandchildren, Sophie, Grayson and Liam; brother, Roy Rideout (Audrey) at Seal Cove; sisters, Lydia Loveless at St. John’s, Nita Dicks (Bert) and Irene Banfield, all at Nova Scotia; sister in law, Shirley Rideout at Seal Cove; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.

Allan was predeceased by his daughter, Sharon Bond; brother, Sidney Rideout; brother in law, Joe Loveless; parents, Curtis and Maggie Rideout.

Walk Through Visitation took place on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the Salvation Army Church at Seal Cove from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and, on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm with one Family Bubble at a time. Instructions were provided on arrival and COVID-19 regulations were followed.

Funeral Service was held on Monday, March 29, 2021, at 2:00 pm at the Salvation Army Church in Seal Cove with Majors Osbourne and Roxanne Randell officiating. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Seal Cove. COVID-19 regulations were followed.
