It is with great sadness that the family of Melvin Cyril Bungay announces his sudden passing at his residence in Seal Cove on Wednesday, July 1st, 2020, age 73 years.

Melvin leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, Phyllis, of 52 years; son, Dwayne (Valerie) at Seal Cove; daughter, Pauline (Larry Janes) at Gander; grandchildren, Robyn (husband, Brandon), Rebecca (Kevin Molloy) and Adam Janes; great grandson, Jase; brothers, Glendon (Kay) at Lewisporte and Major Hedley Bungay (Katie) at Summerford, NL; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Gertrude Bungay.

Private Family Funeral Service was held at the Salvation Army Church at Seal Cove on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at 2:00 pm with Majors Osbourne and Roxanne Randell officiating. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Seal Cove.
