Obituary for Richard George Tibbo

It is with great sadness that the family of Richard George Tibbo announces his passing at the Central Newfoundland Health Care Center at Grand Falls-Windsor on Thursday, March 12th, 2020, age 71 years of Harbour Breton.

Richard leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, Goldie; son, David (Kayla) at Brooks,AB; daughters, Rebecca (Andy Power) at Harbour Breton and Charlene (Glenn Boone) at Paradise, NL; grandchildren, Parker, Landon, Leyton, Aysha, Callie, Ceeanna and Gracelyn; brother, Stanley (Jane) at Harbour Breton; sisters, Martha Strowbridge and Annie Maude (Murdock), all at Harbour Breton; his special friend, Sean Johnston; sisters in law, Evelyn Tibbo, Audrey (Kevin Hickey) all at Harbour Breton and Annie (Chesley Hillyard) at St. John’s; plus a number of other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Sarah Tibbo; brothers, James and Reginald Tibbo; sisters, Eliza Pierce and Charlotte Snook; brothers in law, Bill Strowbridge, Patrick Snook and John Pierce, Sr.; sister in law, Linda Tibbo; and a number of other relatives.

Visitation took place at Spencer's Funeral Home at Harbour Breton on Saturday, March 14th, 2020 and Sunday, March 15th, 2020 from 11:00 am to 4:30 pm and from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm on both days.

Funeral Service was held at Spencer’s Funeral Home Chapel at Harbour Breton on Monday, March 16th, 2019 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Winston Reddicks officiating. Interment followed at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Harbour Breton.
