It is with great sadness that the family of Daniel Joseph Chapman announces his passing at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital at St. John’s on Friday, January 3rd, 2020, age 71 years of Harbour Breton.

Daniel leaves to mourn his loving family: his wife, Florence, with whom he shared 53 memorable years; son, Danny (Lindsay) at St. John’s; brothers, Isaac at Lunenburg, NS, Samuel (Natalie) at Grand Falls-Windsor and Leo (Sheila) at Harbour Breton; sisters, Sarah Snook (Thomas) at Harbour Breton, Marg Hackett (Bernard) at Burin, Delia Parrott (Gerald) at Harbour Breton and Sandra Herritt (Peter) at Peace River, AB; sisters in law, Audrey Chapman and Debbie Chapman both at Nova Scotia; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his father and mother, William and Ernestine Chapman; brothers, Bill Joe Chapman and Patrick Chapman.

Visitation took place at Spencer's Funeral Home, Harbour Breton on Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 12 Noon to 4:00 pm.

A reception followed at the Southern Port Hotel, Harbour Breton from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. All family and friends were welcome to attend.
