It is with great sadness that the family of Lewis Richard Bungay announces his passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center at Harbour Breton on Saturday, November 2nd, 2019, age 86 years of Seal Cove.

Lewis leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, Elsie; daughter, Emily (Dave Loveless) at Seal Cove; son, Enos (Mary) at Grand Falls-Windsor; grandchildren, Laura (Dale Mullins), Kristie (Andy Poole) and Grant Bungay (Shelley); great grandchildren, Emma, Henry, Braden, Eric and Kaiden; sister, Donabelle Rose at Grand Bank; plus a number of other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his infant children, George and Levi; brothers, Ken, Sandy, Thomas and Raymond; sisters, Edith, Violet, Doris and Blanche; parents, George and Annie Bungay.

Visitation took place at the Salvation Army Church at Seal Cove on Sunday, November 3rd, and Monday, November 4th, 2019.

Funeral service was held at the Salvation Army Church at Seal Cove on Tuesday, November 5th, 2019 at 2:00 pm with Majors Osbourne and Roxanne Randell officiating. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Seal Cove.
