It is with great sadness that the family of Doreen Ethel Baker announces her passing at the Central Newfoundland Health Care Center in Grand Falls-Windsor on Tuesday, October 1st, 2019, age 68 years of Harbour Breton.

Doreen leaves to mourn her loving family: daughter, June (Mark Snook) at Harbour Breton; son, Gordie (Amy) at Hinton, AB; grandchildren, Daniel, Andrea and Keira; brothers, Leo Stewart (Anne) and Paul Stewart (Erica) all at Harbour Breton; sisters, Anne Marie at Harbour Breton, Sheila at Whitecourt, AB and Marilyn (Murray Bungay) at Harbour Breton; plus a number of other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by her husband, Gordon; brother, Gordon; sister, Rosemary; nieces, Averee Pierce, Lynette Morris and Rosemary Pierce; parents, Leo Sr. and Lillian Stewart; brothers in law, Fred Snook and Gary Lambert.

Visitation will take place at Spencer’s Funeral Home at Harbour Breton on Thursday, October 3rd, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm ; On Friday, October 4th, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm; On Saturday, October 5th, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm; On Sunday, October 6th, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Funeral service will be held at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church at Harbour Breton on Monday, October 7th, 2019 at 10:00 am with Father David Joy officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Breton.
