It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roland Abbott announces his passing at the Central Newfoundland Health Care Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, age 71 years of Hermitage.

He leaves to mourn his loving and devoted wife, Mona, of 52 years; children, Janet (Bill) of Nova Scotia, Yvonne (Colin) of Hermitage, Brian (Jackie) of St. John’s and Amanda (T.J.) of Whitecourt, AB; grandchildren, Nadine, Amy, Nicholas, C. J. and Joseph; special great granddaughter, Hanna; as well as many nieces, nephews and relatives.

Predeceased by his parents, William and Lily; sisters, Sophie, Mona and Pearl; brothers, Gordon, Earl and Clayton.

Visitation took place at St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Funeral Service was held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 2:00 pm from St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage with Rev. Robynn Toal officiating. Inurnment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Sandyville.
