It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ambrose Edward Northcotte announces his passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center in Harbour Breton on Tuesday, March 5, age 85 years, of Hermitage.

Ambrose leaves to mourn his loving family: wife,Ivy; sons, Sandy (Juanita) at Edson, AB, Chesley (Betty) at Hermitage, Melvin (Nora) at Harbour Breton, Doug (Tammy) at Grand Falls-Windsor, Donald (Nina) at Sandyville and Brian (Tracey) at Torbay; daughter, Patricia (Rocky) at Botwood; granddaughter, Stacey Northcotte; fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren; brother, Wilson Northcotte at Harbour Breton; sister, Rosie Meade at Sandyville; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his parents, Cecil and Lucy Northcotte; son, Freeman Northcotte; granddaughter, Sidney; brothers, Jack and Cecil Northcotte; sister, Annie

Funeral Service was held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 2:00 pm from St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage with Rev. Robynn Toal officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Hermitage-Sandyville.
