It is with great sadness that the family of the late Norman Thomas Bungay announces his passing at Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor on Sunday, March 3, 2019, age 80 years.
He leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, Ada; sons, Darren (Crystal) at St. Alban’s, Junior (Rebecca) at Grand Falls-Windsor and Dave (Jeannie) at Ottawa; daughters, Amanda at Grand Falls-Windsor and Renee (Erik) at Georgetown; grandchildren, Chad, Danielle, Vanessa, Joshua, Travis, Megan and Ryan; great grandson, Loki; brothers, Max (Emily), Fred (Elaine), Reg (Sandra) all at Harbour Breton, Roy (Sharon) and Ed (Winnie) at Nova Scotia; sisters, Joan at St. John’s and Beatrice (Paul) at St. Alban’s; sisters in law, Sheila Bungay at Harbour Breton and Diane Bungay at Nova Scotia; as well as a large circle of relatives and friends.
Predeceased by his parents, Bridget and William Bungay; son, Daryl; great grand daughter, Delilah; brothers, Jim and Bill.
Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 2:00 pm from Christ Church at Milltown with Rev. Hubert Vallis officiating. Interment to follow at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Bungay’s memory may be made to the Bay D’Espoir Cancer Group.
