It is with great sadness that the family of Ross Willcott announces his peaceful passing at his home surrounded by family and love. He succumbed to his courageous 12 year battle with cancer on February 9th, 2019.

Balancing his time between his two passions; (cooking and being outdoors), he lived his life extremely dedicated to his family and his faith. He was a friend to many and an inspiration to all who knew him. He will always be remembered for his quick smile, positive attitude, helping hands and the little dance in his step.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Anita; sons, Wayne (Danielle ) and Steven (Stephanie) ; daughter, April ( Ivan ); grandchildren, Hannah, Emily, Nathan and Rachel; brothers, Maurice, (Yvonne), Tom ( Margaret ) and Richard ( Sandra ); sisters- in law, Melita, Margaret (Larry), Mary ( Ragaie ) and Sandra ( Richard ); also a large circle of relatives and friends.

Predeceased by parents, Ambrose and Vera, brother (William), sisters, Madeline (Walt) and Clotilda (Tom ).

Visitation took place on Tuesday, February 12th and Wednesday, February 13th at Spencer’s Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.

Knights of Columbus Service was held at 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 12th.

Vigil was held at 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 13th.

Funeral Service was held on Thursday, February 14th, 2019 at 1:30
pm from St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church in St. Alban’s with Father David Ousji officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s.
