It is with great sadness that the family of the late ELSIE ROBERTS of Fortune, formerly of Hermitage, announce her passing at the Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank on Thursday, January 10th, 2019 at the age of 101.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons; Gordon of Vancouver, BC & Clarke of Thunder Bay, ON; daughter, Madge Rose (Melvin) of Fortune, NL; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren & 2 Great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Herman Roberts; sons, Harold Roberts & Jack Roberts; daughter-in-law, Claudia.

The Family accepted visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Fortune on Friday, January 11th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm & Saturday, January 12th from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Further visitation took place at St. Saviour’s Anglican Church in Hermitage on Monday, January 14th all day.

Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 11:00 am from St. Saviour’s Anglican Church, Hermitage. Interment followed at St. Saviour’s Anglican Cemetery, Hermitage.

In Elsie’s memory, donations may be made to the St. Saviour’s Anglican Cemetery Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
