Passed suddenly away at Harbour Breton on Saturday, October 27th, 2018, Bride Pierce, age 68 years of Harbour Breton.

Leaving to mourn her loving family: children, Rick (Janice), Angela (Steve d’entremont) both at Harbour Breton, Phoebe (Rodney Tremblett) at Gd. Falls-Windsor, Gloria at Corner Brook and Joe (Myrna) at Black’s Harbour, NB; precious grandchildren, Dylan (Caitlyn), Kendal and Addison; great grandson, Jase; mother, Lillian Strickland at Harbour Breton; brothers, George Strickland (Hilda), Tom Strickland (Pat) and Dean Strickland (Mary) all at Harbour Breton; sisters, Janet Pierce, Laura Lambert (Junior), Bernice Herritt (John), Gladys Drake (George) all at Harbour Breton, Frances Druken at Paradise; sister in law, Violet Pierce at Harbour Breton; special friend, Betty Griffen at Harbour Breton; godson, Jeremy Drake at Lewisporte; plus a number of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Predeceased by her husband, Charles R. Pierce; father, Chesley Strickland; son in law, Gene Lane and other relatives.

Funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at 2:00 pm from St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church at Harbour Breton with Rev. Bruce Vallis officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Breton.
