Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Monday, March 5th, 2018, Walter Thomas Skinner, age 81 years of Harbour Breton.

Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, Una; sons, Walter (Wanda) and Andy (Treena) all at Harbour Breton; daughters, Phoebe (Curt) at Boxey and Sheri (Craig) at Harbour Breton; daughter in law, Marie Skinner at Harbour Breton; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; brothers, Ronald Skinner (Alice) at Harbour Breton, Basil (Betty) at Fortune and Lloyd Miles (Jennie) at NS; sisters, Minnie at St. John’s, Josephine and Leona at English Harbour West, Eliza at Bishop’s Falls, Ida Blackmore at Halifax, NS and Frances Peters at Annapolis Valley; plus a number of other relatives and friends.

Walter was predeceased by his sons, Wade and Terry; parents, Charles and Phoebe Skinner; parents in law, Velma and Archibald Osborne.

Funeral Service took place on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 2;00 pm from St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church at Harbour Breton with Rev. Bruce Vallis officiating.
