Obituary for Anna Jane "Jenny" Benoit

Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Saturday, February 24th, 2018, Anna Jane Benoit, age 91 years, of Conne River.

Predeceased by her husband, John Ambrose Benoit in 1989; son, Christopher Benoit in 1998, grandson, Michael Shannon Joe in 1980; her mother, Susannah Drew and father, John Drew; brothers, Frank, John Henry, George, Andrew, William and John Joe Drew; sister, Mary; she is the last of her family.

Anna Jane was a very quiet and shy person. She liked to stay at home and care for her family. She loved reading especially her Saint Anne books, which she received monthly since back in the seventies. She loved to watch soap operas; her favourite was The Young and The Restless. She was very interested in watching the summer games, especially Golf and Baseball. She suffered and survived much illness over the years; she was a strong woman in many ways.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 1st, 2018 from St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church at Conne River.
