Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, Mr. Garfield J. Loveless, age 87 years of Seal Cove, Fortune Bay.

Leaving to mourn his loving family: sons, Jordan (Grace), Baxter (Nancy), all at Hermitage, Merlin (Madeline) at Seal Cove, Hughie (Cathy) at Grand Falls-Windsor, Roger (Cathy) at Ottawa, Shawn (Roxanne) at Seal Cove, Fortune Bay, with whom he resided; daughters, Irene (Thomas Spencer) at Seal Cove, Judy (Mike Winsor) at Triton and Yvonne (Terry Pitcher) at Green’s Harbour, NL; 14 grandchildren,16 great-grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; plus a number of other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his wife, Dulcie; infant daughter, Melva; sisters, Elsie (John Forsey), Bridie (Fred Forsey) and Dorothy (Benjamin Loveless); parents, Morgan and Alice Loveless; and other relatives.

Funeral service took place on Sunday, February 25th, 2018 at 2:00 pm from the Salvation Army Citadel in Seal Cove with Aux. Capts. Randy and Diane Kirby officiating. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Seal Cove.
