Passed peacefully away at the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Thursday, January 11th, 2018, Fannie Piercey of Hermitage, age 86 years.

Predeceased by husband: Philip; Parents: George and Martha Piercey; sister: Rita; brother: Chesley.

Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Linda Simms at St. John’s and Christine (Randy) Penney at Ochre Pit Cove; one son: Kevin at Hermitage; five grandchildren: Shawn (Rhonda), Chad (Erin), Gavin, Jillian, and Jason (Kristen); five great-grandchildren: Jaden, Katelyn, Charlotte, Lily, and Ben; and also a large number of other relatives and friends.

Resting at St. Saviour’s Haven, Hermitage with visitation on Saturday, January, 13th and Sunday, January 14th.

Donations in Mrs. Piercey’s memory may be made to the St. Saviour’s Haven, Hermitage.

Funeral service took place on Monday, January 15th at 11:00 am from St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage-Sandyville with Rev. Hubert Vallis officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Hermitage-Sandyville.
