It is with great sadness that the family of the late Martha A. Bennett announces her passing at the Carbonear Palliative Care Unit on December 31st, 2017 at the age of 94 years, formerly of Sandyville.

She leaves to mourn with precious memories her daughter, Eleanor (Gordon Rose);granddaughters Paula Rose, Heather Harris (Jeffery Harris), and Lisa Engram (Derwin Engram); great grandchildren, Britney, Felicia, Natasha, Jayden and Gabrielle; Gina Simms (Nan’s special girl); plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Chesley Bennett; parents, John and Florence Wells; sisters, Nora (Garfield) Crewe and Rita (Harry) Hill; brother, Martin Wells and great grandson, Nicholas Harris Rose.

Funeral Service was held on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 2:00 pm from St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage with Rev. Hubert Vallis officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Hermitage-Sandyville.
