It is with great sadness that the family of the Late John H. Skinner announces his passing at the Killick Retirement Centre in Botwood on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at the age of 89 years, of St. Alban’s.

He leaves to mourn with precious memories: wife, Peggy, at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Centre in Botwood; daughters, Pauline Hoskins (Ken) at Labrador City, Linda Skinner (Guy Phillips) at Ottawa, ON, and Raquel Capone (Tony) at Ottawa, ON; son, Ivan Skinner (Doreen) at St. Alban’s; grandchildren, John, Tracy, Kelly, Kenny and Jodi; great grandchildren, Luca, Kyle, Phillip and Kara; sister, Mary Ellen Hodder at St. Bernard’s; plus a circle of other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his parents, Roseanne and Richard Skinner; sister, Lillian Stewart; brothers, William Skinner, Pius Skinner and Harold Skinner.

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 3:00 pm from St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church at St. Alban’s with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s.
