Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre (Long Term Care) in Harbour Breton on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, Mr. Cecil James Cox, age 84 years of St. Alban’s.

Leaving to mourn his loving family: son, Gerry at St. Alban’s; private nurse, Wallace Payne at St. Alban’s; brothers, Gerald (Frances) at St. Alban’s and Levi (Marilyn) at Cambridge, ON; sisters, Margaret (Robert Farrell) and Lenora Lambert all at St. Alban’s; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his wife, Almeda; parents, John and Martha Cox; sisters, Bernadette Farrell, Elizabeth Benoit, Stella Fudge and Joan Haas; brothers, Michael, Walter and Chesley; special friends, Iris and Cyril Organ.

Funeral service was held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 3:00 pm from St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church at St. Alban’s with Father David Joy officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s.
