Passed peacefully away at the Central Newfoundland Health Care Center at Grand Falls-Windsor on Friday, June 2, 2017, in the presence of his family and friends, George Thomas Blake, age 69 years of Hermitage.

Leaving to mourn his loving wife, Norma, of 49 years and special fur friend, Molly; brother, Abe, and wife, Kay at Corner Brook; sister, Rosemary, and husband, Fred at Boxey; brothers in law, Henry MacDonald at McCallum, Charles (Wanda) and Hartley Durnford; sisters in law, Elizabeth, Florence (Bill), Marjorie (Clayton), Paulette (Lloyd) and Pauline (Tony); special friend, Harold Brace; plus a number of other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his parents, William and Mary Blake; sister, Hannah Jane MacDonald; special niece, Sommer MacDonald; parents in law, Stephen and Catherine Buffett; brothers in law, Dean Buffett and George MacDonald; sister in law, Susie Durnford.

Funeral service was held on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 2:00 pm from St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage with Rev. Hubert Vallis officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Hermitage-Sandyville.
