Life Story for Mildred "Millie" Organ (Cox)
Mildred (Millie, aka Babes) was born in Harbour Breton on August 12, 1945 to Julia and Manual Cox. When Millie finished school she went to work at the Cottage Hospital until she met and married the love of her life, Joe Organ, from Bay D’Espoir. Together they had five children Christine, Yvonne, Corey, and the twins, Tim and Julia. Later in life they were blessed with four grandchildren; Kerstin, Kaitlyn, Kendra and their only grandson, Camren, who has been living with his Nan and Pop since he was six months old. They all were her pride and joy, and she loved them dearly.
For many years Millie took care of her brothers after her Mother was tragically killed in a car accident. Her Father died just two months later. After her brothers were out on their own, Millie discovered her two sons were disabled and were left in wheelchairs. She continued to raise her family while taking care of her two sons who still remains at their home.
Millie was a kind and gentle woman to everyone who knew her and she always put her family before herself. God sure has gained another angel.
Fly with the angels, Babes, and hang your clothes out in heaven. You will most certainly be missed.
