Obituary for John E. Hunt

Passed suddenly away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center in Harbour Breton on Friday, January 6, 2017, Mr. John E. Hunt, age 76 years of Harbour Breton.

Leaving to mourn his loving wife, Martha, of 48 years; daughter, Jackie Hoskins (Hubert) at St. John’s; sons, Terry (Leslie) and Kenny (Pauline), all at Harbour Breton; brothers, George (Laura) at Nova Scotia and Alex (Jane) at Harbour Breton; sisters, Ivy Hunt at Harbour Breton, Beatrice Turner (Darren) at Nova Scotia and Mildred Augot (Phil) at Harbour Breton; grandchildren, Crissy and Shane at St. John’s, Courtney, Joanna, Austin, Jodi and Hannah all at Harbour Breton; great grandchildren, Stephanie and Madison at St. John’s; plus a number of other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his mother, Beatrice Hunt in 2003; father, George, in 1954; son, Glenn in 2005; mother in law, Clara Snook in 2013; father in law, Theodore Snook in 1995.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 10:30 am from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church at Harbour Breton with Father David Joy officiating.
