Obituary for Lydia Jane Mullins

Passed peacefully away at the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor on Monday, October 10, 2016, Lydia Jane Mullins, age 73 years of Harbour Breton.

Leaving to mourn her loving family: daughter, Gladys Sheppard (Sheldon) at Harbour Breton; grandsons, Justin and Jason at Harbour Breton; sisters, Blanche Thorne (Fred) at Burnt Islands and Marie Bond (Lorne) at Harbour Breton; brothers, Allan Day (Margaret) at Harbour Breton and William Day (Marilyn) at Cape Breton, NS; special nieces, Mildred Hynes (Jim) and Marjorie Day (Eric); plus a number of other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by her husband, Vincent, on January 5, 2016; parents, Henry P. and Edith Day; grandson, Jorden Scott Sheppard; sister, Gladys Payne; brother, John Henry Day; other relatives.

Funeral Service was held on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 2:00 pm from St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church at Harbour Breton with Rev. Juanita Freeman officiating.
