Obituary for Mary Jane Taylor

It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Jane Taylor announces her passing at the Carmelite House at Grand Falls-Windsor on Monday, October 3, 2016, at the age of 79 years, from Hermitage.

Leaving to mourn her loving family: daughter, Bessie (John Nash) at Hermitage; son, Garfield (Ruby) at Hermitage and Tom (Jocelyn) at Foxtrap; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren; sister, Bessie Cox (Norman) at Wreck Cove; brother, Frank Banfield (Linda) at St. John’s; sister in law, Blanche Jackman at Harbour Breton; as well as a number of other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by her husband, Cyril and her parents, Susie and Theodore Banfield.

Funeral Service was held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 2:30 pm from St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage with Rev. Hubert Vallis officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Hermitage.
